The relationship we have with the city is a great example of how our supports can help people find meaningful work within the community. We are pleased to hear the feedback from city officials regarding how they value the quality of the crews work and the personal relationships that have formed.
Epic specializes in finding employment for people with different abilities. It may be through small work crews using a job coach for support or through individualized employment where natural supports are encouraged. The best reason to hire a person with disabilities is because he or she is qualified! The people we serve may have different abilities, but the similarities to others is in their strong work ethic and desire to work. People with disabilities help to diversify a workforce, and hiring someone with a disability often broadens a company’s customer base. Currently, we offer approximately 100 people a variety of supports to meet employment aspirations as well as educational, social and recreational needs.
